Brad is Human Capital Systems’ Founder and Managing Director. He is also one of four thought leaders for TheStreet.com’s weekly column, "The Innovators" and a member of Duke Corporate Education’s teaching network where he teaches/facilitates senior executive teams.
Brad was formerly Senior Vice President, Global Talent Management for ABN AMRO Bank in Amsterdam – one of the world’s top 20 financial institutions.
Prior to ABN AMRO, Brad worked in Tokyo for IBM’s Asia-Pacific region where he held the largest talent management and organization development role of any organization in Asia (60,000 employees and $25B in revenue). During his tenure, IBM was twice ranked #1 in the world in Chief Executive Magazine’s "Top Company for Leaders."
Brad served as executive coach and consultant for two of IBM’s six general managers and their leadership teams (i.e., IBM Personal Computers and IBM Semiconductors). He was also assigned to design the organization and corporate culture for Lenovo, one of China’s first global corporations.
Previous to IBM, Brad was Director, HR and Training for AT&T Global Services, a $12B unit of AT&T. Under his leadership, AT&T Global Services HR placed second in the world in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers/Linkage award for "HR Innovation" and won a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) award for "Best Corporate Training Program."
Brad completed his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Tulane University with a dissertation focusing on people management practices of Japanese and U.S. corporations. He has lived in Japan for seven years and speaks Japanese.
